Kegworth – Castle Donington – Kegworth  
BLUE (full) ROUTE: circular to Castle Donington:  13km (8miles)
RED ROUTE: first shortcut back to Lockington:   8km  (5 miles)
GREEN ROUTE: second short cut option past the Dumps to Lockington: 9.5km (6 miles)
PURPLE ROUTE: third short cut back via Hemington and Lockington  10.5 km (6.5 miles)

• A walk through some historic villages but also exploring recent additions to our built environment and the remaining rural areas in between. The walk can be split into two parts using the Skylink bus service – running at time of printing. http://www.skylink.co.uk
• Mostly on good hard paths – but the full route does have some short stretches across fields which can be overgrown at certain times of year. Refreshment stops in Castle Donington only. Mostly open ground so weather protection recommended.
